We feel honored to inform you that the Embassy of India will be hosting the Flag Hoisting Ceremony and cultural events on the auspicious occasion of 70th Anniversary of Independence Day of India on 15th August 2017. The Venue is :India Thai Chamber of Commerce, Bangkok (ITCC).

H.E. Mr. Bhagwant Singh Bishnoi, Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Thailand, will hoist the Indian tricolor.

The program is given below:

08.00 Hrs – Arrival of guests
08.30 Hrs – Hoisting of the Indian Flag by the Ambassador followed by singing of the national anthem
08.35 Hrs – Ambassador reads out the President’s Address to the Nation
08.45 Hrs – Cultural Performance
09.15 Hrs – Refreshments

The Flag Hoisting Ceremony will be conducted at the ground floor of ITCC. We recommend guests not to bring cars to ITCC as there won’t be any parking space provided. The nearest MRT station is Lumpini station located at the basement of Q House Lumpini building.

All Indians, persons of Indian origin and friends are welcome to join us for the occasion.

Independence day of India 2017

 

On the occasion of 70th Anniversary of India’s Independence Day, a Flag Hoisting Ceremony will be held at 0830 hrs on Tuesday, 15th August 2017 at India – Thailand Chamber of Commerce, 1 S. Sathorn Road, Thung Maha Mek, Sathorn Bangkok 10120.

Our Ambassador Mentor Program is a great way to get engaged with the business community and enrich participation with stalwarts of the industry. The Ambassador Mentor provides a crucial link between the Chamber Initiatives and its members. They help ensure that all members receive the maximum benefit from their investment. Their primary responsibilities is mentoring the industry segment by leading initiatives, leading delegations, bring concerns to chamber, member retention, recruiting and mentoring new members.

Embassy of India offers prayers to His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej

The Embassy of India is offering prayers and paying its respects to His Majesty the late King of Thailand on Thursday 20th Oct 2016 at the India Thai Chamber of Commerce.

To offer condolences to the Thai nation and the people of Thailand, all Indian associated communities and business associations are coming together to offer prayers and pay their respects to His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

The assembly takes place on Thursday 20th Oct 2016 from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm at the India Thai Chamber of Commerce at Sathorn Soi 1, Bangkok, Thailand. All in attendance will reflect on His Majesty’s significant achievements and the values he lived his life by.

Prayers, starting with chanting by Buddhist monks, followed by multi religious prayers by Indian Communities living in Thailand will be held during the service.

H.E. Bhagwant Singh Bishnoi, Ambassador of India to Thailand and officials from the Embassy of India will also be present. This event is open to all. As a mark of respect, all attendees are requested to wear black, white or dark, muted clothing, at this prayer meeting.

Condolence Meeting for Late Shri Ashok Singhalji, Patron and Senior VHP Leader on Sunday, 22nd November 2015 (4pm) at India-Thai Chamber of Commerce

We are sorry to be the bearers of sad news, but our Maananiya Ashokji Singhal (Patron, Vishva Hindu Parishad) passed away at 02.24 P.M. on November 17 Tue, 2015) at Medanta Medicity, Gurgaon near New Delhi from irreversible pulmonary complications. He was suffering from respiratory problems for over a month. His death is a big loss to the entire Hindu community in the world. 
In a message posted on Twitter, PM Narendra Modi has said “The demise of Ashok Singhal ji is a deep personal loss. He was an institution in himself, whose life was centred around serving the nation.”

Collectively the team has been educated in Engineering and Business (Commerce) with many people having done their Master. Your team members are also recognized from the Top Schools in the world – we have three people from IIT, one from IIM and one from University of New York.

 

Collectively the team has management expertise in multiple areas and has hands-on experience in many business areas and practices. This empowers them to be able to understand your needs better and more importantly be able to represent ITCC membership in a more integral and responsible manner to trade associations, other chambers of commerce, potential investors and the Government.

Leading Thai businesses showed keen interest in India at ‘Doing Business in India

Thai businesses in various sectors participated in the seminar ‘Doing Business in India: Forum for Thai Executives’ at Hotel Plaza Athenee Bangkok.

Organized by the Royal Thai Embassy, New Delhi in cooperation with Embassy of India in Bangkok, the Thai Chamber of Commerce, the Federation of Thai Industries, Thansettakij and Krungthepthurakij newspapers, the seminar aimed to provide useful information to Thai business executives who are seriously interested in investing in India, as well as those who have already set up their business in the country.

The highlight of this year’s seminar was the state of Gujarat – a destination to which Thai investors have yet to venture.

Two executives of Indian investment promotion agencies spoke at the seminar: Dr. Anupam Srivastava, Managing Director of Invest India and Mr. Mukesh Kumar, Managing Director of Gujarat’s Industrial Extension Bureau (iNDEXTb). Both speakers flew directly to Bangkok for the first-of-a-kind interactive sessions with the Thai private sector.

In addition to the two speakers, Mr. Prashant Agrawal, Charge d’Affaires of the Indian Embassy in Bangkok gave presentation on business visas for Thai investors and answered queries regarding assistance from the Embassy for Thai businesses.

Thai companies in various sectors turned up at the forum. Executives from leading Thai companies who have already invested in India such as CP, ITD, Pruksa Real Estate, Srithai Superware and Rockworth participated in the seminar. The meeting also saw executives and representatives of Thai MSMEs.

In the afternoon, Dr. Anupam Srivastava and Mr. Mukesh Kumar held private “investment clinic” meetings with a number of Thai companies. Team Thailand in India (Ambassador Pisan Manawapat, Mr. Tomwit Jarnson, Consul-General in Mumbai, Mr. Chanchai Charanvatnakit, Consul-General in Chennai, Mr. Adul Chotinisakorn, Director of Thai Trade Center Mumbai, and Ms. Kanokporn Choitpal, Director of Board of Investment office Mumbai, also held informal group discussions with Thai businesses.
