India and Thailand Business Forum will take-off during three-day official visit of Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-O-Cha to India beginning tomorrow. Mr Prayut is arriving here with a 46-member strong business delegation, including his deputy prime minister and five senior ministers, Preeti Saran, Secretary (East) in the External Affairs Ministry said in a media briefing on the eve of the visit. The official engagements of the Thai Premier will start on June 17 with his ceremonial welcome at the Forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan followed by a meeting with External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, who would call on him to discuss the issues of the mutual interest.
The delegation-level talks between the Prime Ministers of the two sides will be held the same afternoon before a formal agreements signing ceremony.
During a meeting with Indian businessmen and Mr Prayut, India-Thai Business Forum will formally be launched.
Mr Prayut would also be visiting Wat Thai at Bodh Gaya before flying back home.
