After a four day goodwill visit to Thailand, Indian Coast Guard Ships ICGS Sujay and ICGS Anmol, departed Phuket on 9 November 2018. On 8 November, Community Service Activity was done by the ICGS personnel at Laem Panwa School during which sports and stationary items were distributed to the children. Activities like pollution response demonstration on board during visit of officers and sailors of Royal Thai Navy and promotion of Indian tourism were held on board ICGS Sujay.
Two Indian Coast Guard Ships, ICGS Sujay and ICGS Anmol, made a port call at Phuket on 7 November 2018 on a 5 day goodwill and friendship visit. The ships arrived on 5 November 2018 and were at Anchorage off Panwa, Phuket for two days.
They were given a grand reception at the deep sea port on 7 November at Phuket by the Royal Thai Navy on arrival and received by senior officers from the Royal Thai Navy of 3rd Area Command and the Embassy of India in Thailand represented by Defence Attache Gp. Capt. S Krishnan, VM. The Captains and officers of both the ships made a call on at the 3rd Naval Area Headquarters, and the sailors participated in a friendly football match with the Royal Thai Navy.
Later in the evening of 7 November 2018, the Ships hosted Royal Thai Navy senior officers and representatives from the local Indian community for a Reception on board INCG Sujay.
