The market, being hosted by the Department of Internal Trade of the Ministry of Commerce, is aimed at elevating SMEs with a focus on promoting those with innovative ideas. It has garnered strong interest from the public with sales value already over 21 million baht.
The department stressed that the OTOP brands participating in the event only put out their highest quality goods and present them in attractive packaging. Silk textiles from Nakhon Ratchasima and Kalasin provinces have proven popular with cotton cloth from Chainat province also attracting buyers.
From the start of the market on August 4 to now, sales have reached a total 21.7 million baht. The event will continue until August 27.
