Salman Khan is one helpful dude, which has been proven time and again. Also, his charity work with Being Human is beyond question. But on Koffee with Karan, the Dabangg Khan disclosed a favour that he did a long back, to the owner of Dharma Productions.
When Karan started casting for Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, it was Salman who agreed to portray the character of Aman Mehra, knowing that the role had been rejected by many others. In spite of not having any projects at that time, both Saif Ali Khan and Chandrachur Singh had rejected the role. On the other hand, Salman was shooting with Twinkle Khanna for Jab Pyar Kisi Se Hota Hai, but still agreed to do the extended cameo appearance for Karan’s directorial debut.
As it was revealed on the deleted clip, Salman did a big favour to Karan at that time, but till date holds a grudge against him for not taking him in any of his subsequent projects.
