Yes it is, Salman Khan’s ‘Kick’ has become the fastest Rs 100 cr grosser of the year and has taken just four days to hit this milestone.

After a fantastic weekend, Kick did a superb business on Monday thereby entering into the Rs 100 cr club however, the time it took was more than the time taken by last year’s blockbuster Dhoom 3 and Chennai Express.
The Aamir-Katrina starrer took three days to storm into the elite club with Rs. 107.61 cr while Chennai Express made Rs 100.42 cr with same time period.
But nevertheless, with ‘Kick’ Salman has added one more record in his name. The actor is now the undisputed king of Rs 100 cr club. Kick is his seventh flick to hit the ton after Ek Tha Tiger, Dabangg 2, Bodyguard, Dabangg, Ready and Jai Ho.
“With #Kick racing towards Rs 100 cr mark, Salman Khan is the first actor to have the maximum 100 cr grossers to his credit: 7 films!”, writes Adarsh.
The overseas collection too is impressive and in its first weekend, the Sajid Nadiadwala directorial has garnered over Rs 18 cr.
“The business will get a further boost once the Eid festivities begin. The *opening weekend total* is over $ 3 million [Rs 18 crores] …”, confirms Adarsh.
In UK, Kick which also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui has shown a marvelous growth on Monday.

Today since it’s an Eid holiday, a huge jump is expected while the coming days too this Salman Khan starrer will have a rock-steady collection.
