“Sawasdee PM Modi” – The Mega Indian Diaspora Event in Bangkok is being organized by Thai Indians, in close coordination with the esteemed Indian Embassy in Bangkok.
Everybody’s been working very hard since the last 3 weeks and have put in their heart and soul to welcome our dear honourable PM Modi – the face of India.
Coordination Committee Member Mr. Atul Jogani is briefing about the event preparation. Cultural programme is being organized at short notice covering states all over India from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Northeast to Gujarat. #NamoinThailand
Jay Shankar (Cultural Head) said “Through cultural program we are trying to showcase “Unity among Diversity” of India..19 Associations coming together to portrait India from Kashmir to Konnyakari (Top to bottom) and North to South (Left to Right). We have only around 100 people from eight North Eastern States of India But all of them are coming together to present one dance showcasing culture of North Eastern States. All major states like Gujrat, Maharashtra,Bengal, Odissa, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamilnadu, Rajasthan, Punjab, Telugu are part of our 2 hours show tomorrow. At the end we are putting again a few minutes dance covering India called ‘Incredible India’.”
