Ekta Kapoor in her post had revealed that she spoke to the minor’s mother who said that her husband is just trying to frame Pearl V Puri. A Vasai DCP said that there is proof against Pearl as well.

Pearl V Puri has been arrested on the charges of raping a minor girl. The shocking news broke out late on Friday night. Fans of Pearl are very upset and shocked by the news. They have been trending #IStandWithePearl on social media. It was earlier reported he got bail but later was revealed that Pearl has not yet got the bail. He has been sent into 14-day judicial custody after he was presented in court on Saturday. Ekta Kapoor in her post revealed that she spoke to the minor’s mother who said that her husband is just trying to frame Pearl V Puri. Ekta in her post revealed that she has proof as in voice recordings of her conversation with the mother and that truth will come out. Now, the DCP has reacted to Ekta Kapoor’s claims of Pearl being wrongly framed and of having proofs.

A Vasai DCP revealed there is proof against the actor. In a video shared on Twitter from the press conference, while speaking with the media, Vasai DCP Sanjay Kumar Patil revealed the complaint was filed by the victim’s father at the Versova Police station. The DCP also said that the complaint was later transferred to the Waliv police station. He shared that the case was registered at Waliv police station under the POCSO Act. He also revealed that the victim’s statement has been taken by the police officials. He mentioned that a medical examination was also conducted and added that the accused has been arrested. It is also shared that the victim’s mother used to work in the same show in which the accused played a lead role, because of which the victim visited the sets.

The DCP further revealed that the victim is 12 years old. He shared that the accused has been sent to judicial custody under the court’s order.
