KARISMA Kapoor is said to have moved on from her troubled marriage to Delhi-based businessman Sanjay Kapur, and is now in a relationship.
Although not much is known about her new love interest, sources say the couple are getting to know each other better.
Karishma has been separated from Sanjay for over seven years. However, their divorce and child custody issues have not been finalised. They have two children, Samaira and Kiaan Raj. The two separated after the birth of their first child Samaira but they came back together again and Karisma gave birth to Kiaan. Their break-up was said to be due to Sanjay’s philandering ways.
Bikini scene for Aditi
Bollywood actress Aditi Rao Hydari joins other actresses who have donned bikini in their films. In Boss, starring Akshay Kumar, she wears a red two-piece suit. Aditi was last seen in some bold scenes in Murder 3. She is said to have undergone rigorous training to get in shape and is expected to confidently carry off that bikini scene, reports The Times Of India.
Asked about the buzz online about her bikini scene, Aditi, who was oblivious to tittle-tattle, said: “Really? But I have no complaints about buzz like this! Honestly, it’s great when people are excited about a film, give you compliments and look forward to watching you.”
She started her career with the film Delhi 6 (2009) but it was in Murder 3 that she gained prominence.
Meatier role for Andrea
ACTRESS Andrea Jeremiah, who had a small role in Vishwaroopam, will reprise her role in the film sequel, reports IndiaGlitz.com. Speaking about the film recently, she said Vishwaroopam 2 will keep the audience spellbound. The film, shot extensively in Thailand and India, is expected to release by Deepavali. Almost all in the cast are reprising their roles.
Laksmi Rai, superbiker
SHOOTING for the film Irumbu Kudhirai, which stars Atharvaa, Lakshmi Rai and Priya Anand in the lead, will kick off next month.
Laksmi Rai plays a biker in this film, reports Entertainment.in.msn.com. The actress, who expressed excitement about her role, said: “I will be riding super bikes and am looking forward to it!
“I had ridden bikes back in college days but I stopped after a mishap. Now it is time to start riding again.”
The film will be directed by Yuvraj, produced by AGS International, with Gopinath of Pizza fame at the camera. The story is about bike racing and the film will be largely shot in Pondicherry. The villain in this film will be played by Johny Tri Nguyen of 7aam Arivu fame. Music will be scored by GV Prakash.
Surya’s tribute to wife
KOLLYWOOD’S Surya recently praised his wife, former actress Jyotika, in an interview, reports IndiaGlitz.com. The actor said he only asked Jyotika for her phone number three years after meeting her.
Although they had paired in seven films, it was in the film Kaakha Kaakha that their romance blossomed.
The actor also said that he was literally an introvert, and it was Jyotika who helped him out of his shell. She encouraged him to take on versatile roles and helped him realise his potential. They married in 2006 and have two children now — daughter Diya and son, Dev.
Deepika’s tears of joy
DEEPIKA Padukone’s career is set to roll with the recent success of Chennai Express in which she stars with Shah Rukh Khan. The film has become a box-office success. Her next release will be the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed film Ram Leela, opposite Ranveer Singh.
According to sources, Sanjay praised Deepika on the last day of the shoot after she had finished doing an intense scene and this made Deepika shed tears of joy, reports Hindustantimes.com.
“She got emotional on hearing compliments from a hard taskmaster like Sanjay,” said a source.
Arya to cast brother Sathya
ACTOR Arya, who has also started a film production company, will soon produce a film with his younger brother Sathya in the lead, reports Dnaindia.com.
Sathya made his debut early this year in Vijay Adhiraj’s Puthagam and is currently awaiting the release of his Kadhal 2 Kalyanam and Ettuthikum Madhayaanai.
Arya’s production is titled Amara Kaaviyam and will be directed by director Jeeva Shankar of Naan fame. Meanwhile, Arya is awaiting the release of his four films — Madha Gaja Raja, Arrambam, Irandam Ulagam and Raja Rani.
