BMA prepares 11 medical units around protest sites for Monday

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has urged its personnel to work as normal on Monday and be prepared for any emergency, in the midst of the incoming mass protests.

After a meeting to prepare for the upcoming mass protests against the government on Monday, the BMA announced that its officials will be ready to facilitate and help in any way they can to reduce any damage or loss during the protests. The municipal personnel have been urged to work as normal, especially the medical personnel and those whose works are related to facilitating traffic.

The BMA’s medical department said it had prepared 11 medical service units around protest areas and the Government House. Medical boats to help with injured persons and to transport patients are ready, in case the traffic is paralyzed tomorrow.
