SGPC condemns brutal killing of Sikhs in Pakistan

Amritsar: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has criticised the misdeed of Taliban who beheaded Sikhs in Pakistan and made appeal to the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to put the serious issue before Pakistan.

SGPC chief Avtar Singh Makkar affirmed that the SGPC and entire Sikh community is deeply hurt and slams the killing of Sikhs at Peshawar in Pakistan by Taliban.

He stated that the Prime Minister has to ask Pakistan government to ensure the security of minority Sikh community, who are facing such tragic incident from Taliban.

He made request to the Prime Minister by asking him for arrangement to send a SGPC delegation to visit Pakistan, and have an exact look out of the grim situation.
