Rav’s Ethnicwears began back in the year 1989, when the designer, Anju got married and came to Bangkok, Thailand. It was a new country, new people, new language, and a new culture for her. It was like she was put in a cage with more than 100 locks to open. But, as they say, “everything happens for a reason”. She was lucky enough to get the support from her family and neighbors. Both the Indian society and the Thai society were quite helpful. Surely, she misses her own country, but she knew that Bangkok was her new home.
Anju always had a passion to do something exciting in life, and was aware of God’s beautiful creation called “Women”. She felt the Indian women in Bangkok were lacking the enjoyment of Indian outfits. With the passion for Indian ethnicwear and with the help of her friends, she took the courage to open a boutique named Rav’s Ethnicwears. She did gain success and enjoyed seeing everyone dressing up and being admired. She really worked hard to fulfill everyone desires to achieve such appreciation. There were ups and downs, but her passion for making women look beautiful never died. She did her best in serving the Indian Society. She gave them all the facilities, such as picking-dropping clothes, tailoring, and even easy method of payment.
Anju says that she will not call herself a clever business women or a career woman.
She was doing it for her love for making every woman feel at top of the world. It was a great joy and honor for her when her clients came up and appreciated the wonderful comments they got. It makes all her hard work seemed paid off. It was tough for her to run a boutique as she had family responsibilities too. Anju thanks to her husband and kids who always have supported her.
