Adidas all originals represent “Breathe and Stop” South East Asia Tour
Three of the world’s legendary hip hop DJS to perform in Bangkok
Bangkok – Heavy Boogie productions will rock South East Asia this August with three of hip hop’s most influential DJs and the region’s best dance crews at the block party of the year!
The Breathe and Stop tour presented by adidas Originals will feature three legendary US hip hop DJs Ali Shaheed Muhammad (A Tribe Called Quest/Lucy Pearl), Shortkut (ISP/Beat Junkies/Triple Threat), and Maseo (De La Soul) shaking up dance floors in five of SEA’s most iconic cities. Local DJs and live hip hop acts will also be featured.
Breathe and Stop kicks off in Bangkok on August 4th followed by Kuala Lumpur on the 10th, Ho Chi Minh on the 11th, Singapore on the 16th, and culminates in Manila on the 18th. The crux of the shows is to bring together the DJs, the dancers, and the audience under one groove, united in their quest for the perfect beat.
Each stop on the tour will feature a dance showdown where awards will be handed out for the best individual performance/move, best teamwork/ethic, best crew, and best outfit of the night. The event will also feature local DJ b’all (from dOSe BKK) and some of the city’s top hip hop dancers.
Think collaborative instead of competitive – it’s all about coming together to represent in the most original way possible.
The Bangkok event will take place at LED Club at RCA. Doors open at 8pm. Advance tickets sell at Baht 700 and are available at select adidas retail stores namely, Central World, Central Plaza Rama 9 and Mega Bangna. Tickets bought at the door cost Baht 800.
