The 30-year-old COVID-19 patient from ‘Love You Zindagi’ viral video has died, Dr Monika Langeh who was treating her said.

The 30-year-old COVID-19 patient who featured in the ‘Love You Zindagi’ viral video has lost the battle for life, Dr Monika Langeh who was treating her tweeted.

The woman was seen swaying to the tunes of the song ‘Love you Zindagi’ from Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt starrer Dear Zindagi in a Covid emergency ward.

“I am very sorry..we lost the brave soul..Om Shanti. Please pray for the family and the kid to bear this loss,” Dr Langeh posted on Twitter Thursday night.

She added, “Her family is mourning & they didn’t take any help from anyone despite we offered them… I am not in the state to talk about this at the moment… I was emotionally connected with her. I need sometime.”

 

The woman was being treated in the Covid emergency ward when her video went viral on May 8. She was on NIV support (ventilator support) and had received remedesvir and plasma therapy. She had asked Dr Langeh if she could play some music in the emergency ward to raise her spirits.

 

Love You Zindagi girl

On May 10, the doctor had updated that an ICU bed had been arranged for the patient. “She got the ICU bed but the condition is not stable. Please pray for brave girl. Sometimes I feel so helpless. It’s all in the hands of almighty what we plan what we think is not in our hands. A little kid is waiting for her at home. Please pray,” Dr Langeh had said.

Netizens were left heartbroken and mourned for the loss of the ‘Love You Zindagi’ girl.

One user said, “Kabhi kabhi aasha tut jaati hai upar wale par.” Another wrote, “In my life in future whenever I listen to that song, She will be remembered. Don’t know who she is and who her family is – doesn’t matter. The song is hers now. May her family gather strength to overcome this. God bless the little one!”

A third user posted, “This is so painful. Just so painful.” Yet another added, “You connected thousands of prayers to her but could not be done anything.  She will remain in the memory of every one you got her connected to.”
