Drashti Dhami and her choreographer Salman Yusuff Khan are touted as one of the strong contenders to win dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6. The duo has not only managed to woo the three judges – Madhuri Dixit Nene, Remo D’Souza and Karan Johar with their innovative performances but have won over the voting-audience too. While the other three contestants will make sure to put their best foot forward, Drashti is quite confident about clinching the Jhalak trophy. “I have reached so far in the competition and I am sure I will reach the finals too and take the trophy home along with me” said the talented actor. But when asked what makes her so confident, Drashti quickly replies, “Salman’s hard work, my hard work and my fans.” We are quite impressed with Ms Dhami’s belief in herself and her choreographer!
Drashti has been juggling between Jhalak and her daily soap Madhubala: Ek Ishq Ek Junoon for almost three months. Though the Jhalak finale is few days from now, Drashti has already made plans about what she would do after the dance show ends. Drashti says, “The first thing I am going to do is shop, shop and shop. I will take a Sunday off and go for a nice brunch and a swim later. And obviously catch up on lot of sleep”
