Public interest in Father’s Day activities

The public has shown considerable interest in the three activities marking the birthday anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Father’s Day, taking place at the Ministry of Defense, Saranrom Park and Museum Siam, throughout December.

The exhibition showcasing the life and work of King Rama 9, His Majesty the King, and members of the royal family at the Living Museum has drawn considerable interest from young people and students. Those curating the exhibition have provided insights on King Rama the 9th’s New Theory farming approach to visitors.

At a booth set up by the Treasury Department of the Ministry of Finance, many people were seeking commemorative coins, on the occasion of Father’s Day 2020. Most interest has been shown in a 200-baht set of 20-baht white metal coins, which are limited to five sets per person.

An OTOP sales zone presenting food and products from across the nation is also gaining widespread interest, with some visitors shopping until 9 p.m..
