Salman Khan has made numerous enemies during his stint in Bollywood, but it seems all he wants to do now, is forgive and forget. After hugging it out with Shahrukh Khan, the Jai Ho star moved on to patch things up with Vivek Oberoi at the 9th Renault Star Guild Award. Vivek got into Salman’s hit list when he started dating Aishwarya Rai. Sallu bhai apparently called Vivek a zillion times in the dead of the night and a scared Grand Masti star called up a press meet and threatened to punch the guts out of the shirtless Khan (we still find it hilarious!).
But ever since Aishwarya married Abhishek Bachchan, Vivek has been trying to say sorry to the Bodyguard actor. It seems that his prayers have been answered finally. Salman went ahead and hugged Vivek while he went on stage to accept the award for Grand Masti winning the Hall Of Fame Award at Star Guild Awards.
It is, however, strange to see the boldest adult comedy film win such a coveted award. Grand Masti won the award along with movies like Chennai Express, Ram Leela, Race 2 and Aashiqui 2. The entire cast and crew was present to receive the award. They were ecstatic to see such a small budget movie be accepted in the 100 crore club. In spite of overwhelmingly negative reviews and controversies surrounding the film, the sequel to the Ajay Devgn starrer Masti turned out to be one of the biggest box office money-spinners of the year. But when they collected the award, it was Salman’s hug to Vivek that caught everybody’s attention.
It is good to see people forgetting the past differences and move on. Hai na peeps?
