There’s going to be a pint-sized Indian performing on American TV host Ellen DeGeneres’ show soon. Eight-year-old Akshat Singh floored the judges and audience on TV show India’s Got Talent with a dance act that imitated Bollywood star Salman Khan, and has been invited by Ellen to appear on her show in Los Angeles.
NDTV met Akshat, who is from Kolkata, at Mumbai airport on his way to the US and he said he was very excited to be appearing on the show. He did admit, though, that he hadn’t heard of Ellen.
Akshat’s favourite dancer is Salman Khan and in addition to the Dabangg actor’s greatest hits he’ll be dancing to some Michael Jackson as well.
